Taking private calligraphy lessons is the best way to learn this intriguing skill. Like the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. A teacher demonstrating right in front of you while answering *your* particular questions is worth a thousand words from a how-to book. It is the most efficient way to learn this lovely artform. You will enjoy access to my tools, supplies and library. It's so much fun! I can fit lots more into my private lessons than I can in classes. Give it a try!

Private lessons are held in my studio. You are welcome to use my supplies until you know what you want to buy. My fee for private lessons is $30 per teaching hour. I recommend a minimum of 1 1/2 hours for each lesson. Two hours per lesson is even better. I am available to teach most weekday mornings/early afternoons and on some evenings.
